I didn't sleep a wink last night. This wasn't helped by the commotion of some guy driving his car onto our land to answer questions from the driver of a police patrol vehicle at about 02:55 which aroused my attention. It was odd, almost as though this guy was pretending to live at our address, for he walked off around towards the front and I guess he hide while the police readied themselves before heading off. Half an hour later, he turns up and makes a rapid departure from the scene. At about 06:00 the police returned, presumably to check on his vehicle, only to find it gone.

My little drama for the night, which was otherwise spent throwing myself around in my bed, trying to get into a comfortable position. I had a slight temperature, remnants of my flu and my mind seemed to suddenly focus on all sorts of things. An occupied mind is never good when one is trying to get some sleep.

Anywho, I'm off to work today now that my flu has settled to a slight chesty cough - nothing major.
