It is midday, tea in one hand, mouse in the other, checking up on two eBay auctions I bid on last night. In fact, until last night I never thought I'd venture onto eBay. Other members of my family have used it often, though I tend to ere on the side of caution about these things. Nevertheless, yesterday I bit my tongue, signed up, bit my tongue again, placed two bids; and now I find myself checking up on my progress here at work. Hmm.
So how am I doing? Well right now I've got a Nikon CoolPix 3100 digital camera for £3.20 and a Sega Dreamcast games console for £20. The camera is only a 3.1 mega pixel camera, however, for £3.20 you can't go wrong when at retail it's about £170.
I expect to loose both auctions as £20 is my absolute limit for bidding on anything right now and I intend to stick to that. I'm still feeling cautious about eBay and don't want to get carried away. No shame in being cautious. I may be very lucky and win at £20 - it's not likely but hey, you never know...
