Re-written this entry as I wrote it in an uber fit of boredom last night...

Been doing a spot of animation today. It's the basis of a short flash introduction for The LighterSide, a parody of The DarkSide Project which is something I designed. The general idea for the short is that a light guy walks up and replaces the word Dark with Lighter. Yeah, really exciting stuff I know, though I doubt I'll be winning eleven Oscars for it.

No matter, it's a good practice in character animation and animated lighting - something you don't often get to play with when creating still images for clients on the Architectural side of things. I'm having fun with it and may even finish it this weekend. Click the image to the right for a full screenshot ((1600x1200)). There's no pressure on completing it, something that sadly doesn't come into my work at the office. Ah well, never mind...

Oh and yes, that's Windows Media Player running through episodes of The Simpson’s in the corner there :D.
