Today? Hmmmm. Not going to talk about it - although this evening I quickly changed into some old clothes and attacked my car with a bucket of soapy water and sponge. While the snow looks pretty, it means that the roads are gritted and pretty coloured cars turn to a dull grey colour as all the salt dries on them. It's doubtful that the snow will come again now, so I had conscribed myself to getting it washed this evening, before it got dark. Forget using a car wash - everyone else is queuing up to get their cars clean in the carwashes right now, lazy bums...

What's the betting that overnight the salt will work it's way off the road and back onto the car? ;)

Anywho, had a small parcel waiting for me on the dining room table once I had finished with my car. Inside was a copy of Xandros 2, which is quite an amazing Linux distribution that runs Windows applications like a dream. I won't babble on about it here, so either Google it or check out their website. It was sent to me by a good buddy of mine who felt the need to save me from downloading it, which was really cool - I owe you a drink someday :)
