Long time no see...
Heehee, yeah so I've not been overly worried about keeping this Blog up-to-date in the last two weeks since I got back. Even my buddy Paul has managed to keep his Blog more up-to-date than mine. A few folks have kind of hinted that I should get something up because they enjoy reading my updates, so for you folks and anyone else who has nothing better to do...
The last few weeks in review!
Work :: There's little I want to go into too much depth with regards work. I've had serious trouble with my secretary having some sort of hidden agenda, which came to a height with threats being made at against me a couple of weeks ago. Nasty stuff when you've done nothing to warrant it. She returns from holiday next week, unfortunately. From small French women, to even smaller pests, namely a couple of tiny mice that have sprung out of nowhere and made the office their home. Sure they're cute, however, rodents are a health risk and it has now been a week since they first appeared without anything proper being done to sort the problem out. Coupled with the ever more exemplified downward spirals one of the partners is in, which is giving me no end of grief, I'm about ready to jump ship. I mean, unless something radical happens then I think almost four years of being underpaid, unappreciated and generally just being used, is about more than anyone should have to endure.
Home :: Well everything is sorted here now. I've hung a load of posters and paintings on the walls and that alone has helped make everything feel more home-like. I'm pleased with it all. My sister Naomi was here during the Easter break from University in Manchester - which was nice. In eight weeks time she'll be finishing for the Summer hols. Guessing she'll spend a large proportion of that time playing with my Dreamcast, seeing how she has developed a love for it. She's also got a blog, though due to the trouble I've had with online bullying, there are no links to her websites and such...so trust me when I say it's even more boring than my site........... just kidding, honest!
Internet :: Some of you will know I moderate a few of the forums that I frequent. Well I've finally had it with Microbeta.net and so asked to be made a normal member again. I had retired once already but with people relying on my skills here and there, I was talked into returning. That was a mistake so I'm now fairly distanced from the board and visit just to quickly glance through the threads to see what rubbish is being touted.
On the other hand, Paul has made me administrator of the DarkSide Project - which some may say has been a long time coming, since I built a rather hefty portion of the site when it launched last year. No matter though, it's never really been something I've thought about because we’ve always gotten on so well with each other, though it was great to be asked. Thanks again!
Hmmmm, well that's all for now. I'm hungry! Regular updates to come…
