The earth ripped apart, horizon to horizon...

...as the sky turned blood red and daemon spawn rose from the depths of hell. Women and children run screaming through the streets. Birds fall out of the sky. Plants turn to ash. S-Club releases another album. The end of time itself is nigh...

No, my sister isn't due home for a week yet, so it's not that. Rather, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, ala We're gonna milk this cow until it cries, has been unleashed upon the innocents of the world this weekend. Kinda scary. Brrrr. I have to admit, as if you hadn't guessed already, that I do not like the whole Harry Potter thing. I was the kid at primary school who had read the Lord of the Rings trilogy, whilst some managed to read The Hobbit and thought it was the pinnacle of all reading. So to me, Harry Potter is tame and rather lame. The only good thing I found in it ((I'm not misinformed - I have read one of the books and saw the first film on either Sky Premier or BBC1 some time ago)) was the message to kids that they should be nice to each other and that working together is important - as is friendship. Other than that - the whole shabbam is pure evil...mwha ha ha haaaaa!!!

*cough*

With any luck it'll all blow over soon enough, until next time...
