This weekend...

Again, a very busy week. I'm posting the picture of the flowers, from last weekend, for you to see. I know it's small but one day I'll see about creating an online photo gallery and provide the full hi-resolution images for you to gander at.

I mentioned The DarkSide Project last week and how we're moving into our third phase. Well yesterday another part of that was finalised in the form of the betasweb.com forums. Run by Paul and myself, this new branch of the project is a special invite only forum. By inviting members and accepting recommendations from existing members, we hope to ensure the creation of a small community of real enthusiasts. There are too many technology sites where members spend all day posting jokes and polls or respond to posts with random chit-chat. We're waving bye-bye to that and hope the clutter free environment will be appreciated.

Alongside this, the front end for the project has been revamped. I'm hoping to go live today. The overall effect of this new look and feel to the project is to say "we're not your average site run by thirteen year olds" and to maintain an ere of respectability and intelligence...whilst still keeping things fun.
