Another lazy weekend...
Arrived home from work, fed-up and tired on Friday - only to find that my sister had made a suprise return, sooner than I thought she would. It's great, if only she wasn't going to be running off again by the end of the month, when she'll be moving into her new house in Manchester.
This morning and yesterday, we both went out with Meg for her walkies. Naomi managed to wear herself out walking to the car parked outside the house and was moaning all the while about how fast I was walking. I don't walk fast while up on the moor - put me into a supermarket or a town shopping centre and I'll show you fast. I mean, you need to in such places - all the hussle and bussle mixed in with window shoppers wandering aimlessly along from shop-to-shop with half a dozen kids and their grandma tagged along - all walking as slowly as possible...brrrrr...I hate it. Well I enjoy the moors so my pace is considerably slower when out walking with Meg.
Anywho, it was enjoyable. The weather has been great recently - although at times it gets a bit close when the breeze drops. I'm still getting a little frustrated by all the lazy folks splaying out in the sun during my lunchtime walks - some of these people look terrible and need exercise and a diet - not a tan. One day I'll buy Dartmoor National Park and ban such people. Yeah, that's what I'll do.........
