...it's sinking in

I think suddenly the partner who was so easy about me having time off work has now suddenly realised that this will mean I'm not going to be around to do his drawing for him. Today I've had a project thrown at me that really needs a levelled survey doing in order to properly work with ((especially as I need to consider a disabled access ramp)) but I'd probably get into trouble for worrying over such things. He has to present a scheme at a meeting on Monday morning and it would seem that so long as he has something on paper, it doesn't matter how messed up it is. I took advice from the other partner on compliance with Document M from the approved building regulations, which looks at issues of disabled access to and movement within a building. They've recently been updated and the changes are somewhat drastic so until I get around to studying them properly, I'll be checking with him on certain things. I got the plans finished today, so tomorrow I'll be working on the elevations. Should be...interesting...
