Censorship...

Hmmm, looks like I may have to undergo strenuous censorship in this Blog entry. Well to avoid legal situations, I'll not mention the second parties name so then I'm not directly insinuating that my sister was scared about crossing a stream...then this boggy area...then the spiders webs...

umm... :|

Anywho, so we stopped off where there seemed to be a hoard of camper vans, with people sat inside, looking out over the moors while they ate. Lazy beggars. It's sad to see that most people barely manage to venture more than a few hundred yards from this parking area. Those that do more often than not stick to the relatively flat, uneventful areas of moorland. We headed off down the valley along the streams that head toward the marshes. Unlike this couple we spotted wandering aimlessly into these marshes, we decided to walk around them. ((Yeah, I made the mistake of wandering onto the marshes a month ago but at least I kept going. Once these two worked out what was going on they simply stood there like lemons for a good ten minutes. Noobs.))

Meg had her usual unexplainable mix of not wanting to cross streams one moment and then being quite happy to run around in the mud the next. Naomi was well...I've already mentioned that. I wouldn't have but for the way she was so rude to me just now so I'm not too bothered about mentioning her funny moments. Especially the effort she went to in cross a stream, only to end up stuck and almost doing the splits over a stretch of stream that I then had to rescue her from. Heehee...

Next time, be nice about it and I won't mention it here :p

When we returned to the car 90mins later, the folks in their camper vans were still sat inside, looking out over the moors...eating...urgh. On our last leg the wind and rain had picked up somewhat but it was nothing compared to some of the weather you can get up here. I'm just thankfully for my walking boots being water tight...not that this helps much when you walk through a stream that turns out to be a lot deeper than you thought it would be. Typical but there you go. It's not gonna kill me...

...unlike my sister when she read this *runs*
