Doom 3 unleashed

Select stores across the United States opened at midnight as hardcore gamers queued to get their hands on one of the first copies of the new Doom 3 game. Internationally, the release date is anyone's guess. I've had the game on pre-order for some time now and for a while, was expecting the game to arrive tomorrow ((4th)), however, that could be optimistic as the online store is now reporting release dates of 11th and 13th. Wish they'd make up their minds.

Doom 3 is a remake of the first Doom game, with added depth of story accompanied by sound and visuals that will leave you speechless. I'm a big fan of id software titles and eagerly await the game's UK release. From what I'm told, the game made it onto the Internet Saturday morning but I'm not interested in downloading it - unlike tens of thousands who are cancelling pre-orders and flooding any torrents that appear like flies to cow dung...not that Doom 3 should be likened to a pile of shite.
