For the love of...

Just recieved this:
Unfortunately we no not have stock of the following products you returned:
Asus V9980 GeForce FX 5950 Ultra 256MB DDR TV-Out/DVI (AGP) - Retail (GX-024-AS)

We can offer an alternative of similar (current) price from our catalogue or a refund (full or partial depending on the circumstances), obviously if you would prefer (and we still sell your product) we could wait until fresh stock arrives from our suppliers. Please advise how you would like us to proceed.

Needless to say I've asked for a full refund, including the extra £13 of sending the product back to them. They certainly took their time over this mind you. The prodcut was removed from their site listings the morning following my order. That's almost two weeks ago now. Why the RMA dudes couldn't have mentioned this when they emailed me on Tuesday to say they'd process my replacement having recieved the faulty card, beats me.

I'll order this from someplace else in time, though perhaps not for a while to see the price drop a little more. Naomi won't be pleased as she was supposed to be getting my GeForce3 to upgrade her computer :(
