Last day

Brrr...just come in from walking Meg and it's pelting down with rain, though of course she doesn't mind because she gets her towel rub once we're in through the door. So anywho, today marks the end of a two week holiday away from work. As is always the case, time has cruelly passed me by. There are things I've wanted to do that I haven't done. There are things that I've needed to do that I haven't done. All in all though, things have been great. No work, no hassle, no stress.

No stress except for when the office called me on my mobile. I decided that they wouldn't want me calling them on their holidays, so when I saw 'work' appear on the phone, I cancelled the call. Obviously the didn't take the hint and phoned on the land line. Problem? Some idiot had deleted the office's internet connection username. Stress? Yes, my body all tensed up and my head started to hurt. Why the second something goes wrong, phone me? They have the username written down, have done for years before I ever worked there. Besides which, the username happens to be the company name? What ass forgets something as simple as that? Makes you wonder what the hell goes on in their minds...

...and breathe...

...sorry but it feels like this happens every time I go away, which isn't often. I'm not looking forward to my return tomorrow either. Just thinking about it is making me feel tired and sore.
