Presentation Success

Today was the day for the two teams to present their ideas to our client as part of our thesis project ((part of my HND)) and I'm quite pleased with how our group did...or at least, how I did. My talk cantered around a 3D presentation, with the site and surrounding area displayed in 3D and projected on the big screen. Moving the camera to different locations, with the aid of some 24inch print panoramic photographs I had taken a couple of weeks ago, as well as proper floor and site plans I'd drawn up, I was able to talk about the various schemes. The mix of mediums should have made it more interesting, though what disappointed me was how blindingly obvious it was that I'd done all the leg work. I'm now very tired for all the extra work I've put in so am pleased the weekend is nearly upon us.

The other group hadn't quite managed to match what I had done and it was a shame to see they couldn't actually present their project, opting instead to huddle around a table with the client. In two weeks we'll find out how well we've done, though for now I'm quietly confident of success.
