The Moors and a Movie

I took Paul up onto the moors near Princetown this morning. We were presented with good Dartmoor weather - a heavy mist and strong, cold winds - though both these subsided with time. My aim was to give Paul a good walk and we were out there for a few hours. Due to the amount of exercise Paul gets from training recruits, he seemed to manage the walk effortlessly. A lot of the little streams had swollen dramatically due to the wet weather we've been having lately. Needless to say, we managed to get wet and muddy but that's just part of the fun. It was nice to share something I enjoy so much with him.

After heading off back home to shower, change and have lunch, we headed for the old Warner Village cinemas ((now owned by Vue)) to see Shark Tale - an animated DreamWorks production. Well worth going to see. Upcoming films I want to go see include Robots ((Blue Sky Studios)) and The Incredibles ((Pixar)).

The two of us are feeling quite tired now and are hoping that Half-Life 2 might surface in the morning...seeing it hasn't turned up today as it should have :(
