Happy New Year

Title says it all really. In a few days I'll be back in the office. Before then I probably should think about getting down to my father's Church and survey the building - something about electricians who can't do it themselves. Somehow it seemed easier just to say yes and see how far "no rush" would stretch. Not far it seems. Joy... *sigh*

A little zonked today. Couldn't put my book down last night so was up until some unearthly hour.

I've been looking at some digital cameras recently, time to purchase myself a new one - although I'm terribly fond of our Olympus C2000z which dates back to 1999. I'll either get another Olympus or a Nikon. I use a Nikon 5400 at work and it's a good camera to work with. Not in any rush right now so I'm happily trolling through camera reviews and comparing specification sheets. I've gone off the idea of a Cannon Digital Ixus IIs now. While it's highly featured for a compact camera, I think it'll soon become limiting in use and a camera with which I can experiment more with lighting and macro photography is what I'm craving just now.
