Latest on the car...

As I am not to blame for the woman driving into my car, parked outside my house while I was indoors getting ready for work, her insurance company covers all my costs ((or at least, my insurance company will claim my costs back from her company)). So the fact the repairs to my vehicle amount to £845 isn't really an issue of much concern to me. Lucky me. As my insurers have authorised my local garage to carry out the repair works, they've ordered the new body parts and booked my car in for Tuesday. I'll be getting a courtesy car, which is great as it'll save me the long, crowded bus ride into work.

While the car is in the garage - I'll ensure they look at and put an end to the now intolerable screeching emanating from the region of my front left wheel. Lord only knows what it is. It's so random as to when it happens. Sometimes only when I brake; sometimes all the time but it stops when I brake; sometimes all the time and it gets worse when I brake; sometimes for the first few minutes of driving; sometimes towards the end of a long trip...ARGH!!!

Anywho, at least I now when everything is going to be sorted. Just tomorrow and Monday to put up with the screaming wheel. Today has been dull. Can't wait for the weekend...
