Heehee... got it working, of course! Can't understand why the installer worked on the laptop and not on this computer. Anywho... I'll leave it a month or two before actually putting anything I make in Flash8 online because of how until folks have installed the updated FlashPlayer, any Flash8 specific functions simply don't appear.
