A Great Day

Since I've been back in Uni this past three weeks, there's not been much going on. Just the presentation and an exam (for which we won't know the results until June). As such, my time has been largely spent killing time.

Today though, a friend of mine took me out to play snooker - a game I love, though haven't played for many years (I used to have a quarter sized table in my room when living in Plymouth). It doesn't matter that I lost the three frames we played, which isn't hard when you're so out of touch... for me it was just fantastic getting out and having some fun. Certainly looking forward to playing some more now I've taken out membership with the snooker club.

This evening a group of us met up in nearby Cwmbran for drinks and a meal. It was nice seeing everyone again. I really feel that I've found some great people here at University. They likely won't know or care for it but it really makes my day and right now I'm on a high.

It really has been a great day.
