Weekend, Cameras and Websites...
I've spent this weekend at a friends house, making for a nice change from being cooped up in my flat. Also meant I was able to sleep in perfectly quiet surroundings for a change. We went to see "Underworld Evolution" at the cinema - which I later found out was a sequel to another film, hence my confusion. Wasn't expecting quite so much blood and guts to be honest but then I had no idea what to expect. Regardless, I really enjoyed my weekend away.
On Friday I took delivery of a new camera - an old 1982 Canon AL-1 (FD mount). Astonishingly for £10 not only did I get this camera but two lenses. The first is a nice Canon 50mm lens which came with the camera new and the second is a Mitakon 35-210mm zoom lens. My main reason for purchasing this was to make use of my Soligor 60-300mm macro lens. It's fun.
Finally, for pure interest's sake, you may wish to check out this page which will form part of my second assignment submission for Webpage Authoring. It validates as XHTML 1.1 Strict and of course, the CSS validates also. I've made use of PHP for putting content onto the page. Something I've not done yet, though will need to do, is include some form of JavaScript on the site which I'll do later. Right now I'm not sure what I want to do on that front.
