Vote for... just who are they?!

It's hard to walk around either Caerleon or Allt-yr-yn campus without seeing various "vote for me" posters for the pending student union elections. This means people you've never seen before and never will see again are running around asking for your vote. Yesterday a few of us where canvassed in the refectory by one of the girls standing for President. We told her we're not voting for people we never see. Opening her mouth to try convincing us otherwise showed she didn't have a clue about what was happening in the university, beyond her idea that students needed more licensed bars on campus. Whatever...

Oh and for some reason the Student Union supports the strike and industrial action that the lecturers are taking. They're a joke!
