Fined by the University

This morning I received my bond back from the University, which was paid for accommodation in halls of residence. Of course, this was less fines leveraged against everyone for the actions of a few.

So £38.50 of my £100 bond was taken because:

• There was spray paint on a chair and the blinds of the communal lounge (I never actually knew where the communal lounge was. In fact I spent most of my time believing there wasn't one!)
• The kitchen needed cleaning (I stopped using the kitchen after my first two weeks in halls due to the gross lack of hygine exhibited by other students.)
• A broken mini-fridge door (They'd better not be refering to the mini-fridge in what was my room because I reported that broken from the start... and if it was from another room then why am I covering that persons costs?)
• Someone let off the fire extinguishers (I'm guessing no one ever owned up to that, although I thought he (yeah, I know who it was) had.)

I'm not best pleased!!!
